It's funny when people say he doesn't have any confidence in his shot but he's out there taking ill-fated shots anyway.
I do think lack of playing time has hurt Dooling, Pavlovic and Daniels. They only get called on to mop up or emergency situations generally. Dooling has had chances to play longer and emerge but he never does. He gets close sometimes and then he rides the pine too much and comes out flat again.
The one play I seen that irked me was late in the game he was on the floor and had a chance at a loose ball. I think it was a rebound. And he started running towards it and looked like he had a shot at it but a Knick was running towards it too and it looked like he backed off to avoid a collision and basically gave the ball to the Knicks. This was late in the game and we were trying to get back in it and each possession was counting. That irked me the most.
But, I'll be a bleeding heart and say I don't expect these guys to sit the bench all the time and then come in and swish shots very much.
I just want them to contribute and last night they came up duds.
