Yes. KG should get suspended. Maybe getting suspended routinely is his way of making sure he gets some rest this season since Doc can't be trusted. Because that's the only reason I can understand for what happened. I imagine terrible things get said during trash talking and KG really should be able to not react in ways that will attract suspensions and fines.

On a related note but Walker really needs to do something about that mess on his head.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

I wouldn't 'worry' a KG suspension at all.

I'd accept it with glee.

The Miami game on Tuesday is an absolute throw-away.  That's the biggest guaranteed Celtics loss we've seen here since the days of Sebastian Telfair and Gerald Green.  KG not playing would be fine by me.

For all this talk about pacing our good players, Doc played Rondo, KG, and Ray 41, 37, and 36 minutes respectively.  So much for 'managing' those guys minutes as he told Craig Sager after the first quarter today.  A KG suspension will be a great thing.

He might, I'd hope he'd get away with a fine since it was a shove that went high since Walker is a lot shorter than him. But he's got a history of suspensions so they might not give him the benefit of the doubt.

I would expect some sort of fine and a suspension is totally possible.

KG played a lot tonight and I thought we went to him to much in the 4th... I woulda loved to see Rondo go to the basket more... Like on the last play of the game, KG hands that off to Rondo and hes got a wide open lane.

Wilcox should get more minutes in place of KG, however, he looked even more exhausted then Garnett did.

Just watched a short clip of this. The still definitely made it look worse. I like how Bill is not backing down  ;D Remember that jam after the whistle in the Bulls(?) game? LOL - Anyways, sort of a silly moment for KG... But, he's Mr. Intense, so you have to give up something to get something else. KG gets in people's heads.

I think Bill was playing really physical.   I think KG acted as an enforcer in his eyes.   He had some hard fouls and I think losing didn't sit well with him.   I think it is a real possibility of a suspension.

It looked more like a push than a choke to me.   His hands are big so it looked a whole lot worse.  He would have done more damage had he held on and started pummeling him.

It was clear that Walker was talking trash though.

Nah, if all that skirmish was ... was what the clip showed on the game thread then no, absolutely not.

Nowhere near suspension worthy. I doubt KG even gets a fine. Non-story.

Non-issue.

I'd wager a bet that David Stern & Co. will disagree with you...

Stuff that qualifies for an suspension these days would hardly qualify for a foul circa 1975-!988

PO-litically correct NBA league gone soft.....Hard Foul Level I, soft foul, etc .....

Just insanity .....

30-40% chance he gets a small fine (relatively speaking)

0% chance he gets suspended.

idk, it looks like a suspension is coming from the way he choked Bill Walker...
