I haven't gotten excited yet.  I'm still waiting for the small chance that somebody claims him.

If Outlaw got 3mil then I don't see why Pietrus's contract would be unreasonable.  Better shooter and better defender.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

6 pm est, right? Man this makes us really solid. The combo of having Daniels back and looking normal, getting Wilcox for nothing, and now Pietrus all for nothing. Crazy. 3 very nice bench players for nothing, and 4 if we count Dooling.

This lineup is going to be nearly as good if not as good as the lineup that was so great for us the championship year:

KG, Pietrus, PP, Ray, Dooling. Dooling has made about 40% of his last 600 3 pt attempts.

I'm very pleased with Danny and what he has done.

Dooling, Daniels, Pietrus, Bass, and Wilcox is one heck of a bench.

I'd be very happy if Danny got ride of Bradley so we could pick up House. I know it is giving up potential but I miss watching Eddie drain the occasional three ball and his towling waving abilities! :)

No real downside to this signing.  Not going to get excited about it tho until we see how that knee holds up.

He failed a physical for a reason and even the amazing staff in Phoenix hasn't been able to get him healthy

Then call Eddie.  He can't do worse than Bradley.
I wouldn't cut any current players for eddie house.

Yeah, there's nobody worth cutting on our roster for Eddie.  Only thing I could see us doing is cutting Dooling to make room to sign Nate (expecting to be bought out).  I could be on board with that; I'm a big Nate fan.

Theres no way. Nate cant play point guard. Why would we cut Dooling after just signing him especially for Nate? Makes no sense. Dooling is a great commander on the floor. The C's have not had this decent of a true back up point guard in many many season.

I wouldn't say Nate "can't" play point guard.  Of course it doesn't make much sense and I agree that Dooling is a very good bench player.  Nate is just a personal fave of mine and I enjoy watching him.

We'll be saying it all year, but imagine that bench with Jeff Green too...

I doubt Pietrus signs with us if we have Green. I really hope that our young guys can give us something off the bench.

Imagine it with David West and/or Chris Paul. ;)

Kevin Garnett / Chris Wilcox / Greg Stiemsma
David West / Brandon Bass / JuJuan Johnson
Paul Pierce / Michael Pietrus
Ray Allen / Marquis Daniels / E'Twaun Moore
Chris Paul / Keyon Dooling

Still, I'm pretty happy with what Danny was able to put together, all things considered.

Not only would I not cut any current player for Eddie House, but if House was a Celtic, I would cut him to sign Avery Bradley or Sasha Pavlovic.

I bet someone picks him up, also wish Doc would shut his mouth about him being a great pickup for any team.  :-X ;D

I agree he was fun to watch and I always always rooted for him. I wouldnt take him over Dooling though. If we could get him in the 12 man line up by cutting a Bradley then I would be all for it.
