Kris Humphries is #1 for some reason, and at least Kobe, Lebron, Melo, and Bosh are ahead of our captain. Interesting that Pierce makes the list but KG and Rondo don't.

You know why people don't hate on KG... because although he talks trash on the court, people see that it isn't malice but a guy who walks what he talks! If anyone sees KG in interviews they know he is an intelligent and nice guy! Why PP is on the list? I have no idea...

Other NBA players would likely vote for PP, but this was voted for by the public.  Rondo likely wouldnt make it, because to be considered for the list, the general public had to have at least a 10% awareness of them.  Outside of hardcore NBA fans, not many people are that familiar with Rondo.  The others on the list are names that have been in the news and sports headlines this year.  Thats why Humphries and metta are on the list even though theyre not big time players...they were big in the news this year.  Paul Pierce is harder to explain, but people probably still remember his wheel chair to Championship turn, and have a bad image of him from that.

I've heard Kris is kind of scumbag.  There was a story that when he was a big time high school recruit, he was invited to Kansas's campus to hang out with the players there.   Kansas's coach allowed the current players to vote on what incoming freshman they wanted on the team.  All the players voted no on Kris because of how much of a jerk he was.

I think it's pretty safe to assume that anyone buying an NBA jersey is a hardcore NBA fan.  Those people will have a heck of a lot more than 10% awareness of these names, but the voting that was done included anyone with at least a 10% awareness of who the players were.  That probably just means they read a story about them somewhere once, or know the name enough to connect it to the right sport.  If the poll was done of hardcore bball fans (the ones that wear their teams jerseys around), I doubt Humphries, Metta, Odom, or Wade would make the list.

Rondo is one of the most recognized players in the league.
His flashiness is famous- they LOVE him in Europe and Asia. I live in Australia at the moment and the jerseys you see the most are:
Lebron, Rondo, Kobe, Blake Griffin.
Rondo is an All star with almost 1.2 million votes (more than Stoudemire,blake griffin,dirk, duncan, Camrelo)- those votes aren't made by hardcore NBA fans. KG and Rondo had almost twice as many votes as Ray Allen..see below for the numbers.

That list is so arbitrary.  Odom and Humphries in the top 10?  Give me a break.  I'd pay more attention to a poll taken by NBA fans.

Dislike stems from the inability to beat that person and his team and his on-court antics.  Here's my own list (I've been a Celtics fan since '02)
