No way, he stays a Celtic, it's not like he has an Kobe-KG-like kind of contract, the man gave the Celtics a flex contract when he signed it, and I'm sure Danny will keep him and Sign him for another 2-3 years.

Yeah, Scal was TOTALLY a franchise player.  ::)

Look, I love Scal as much as the next guy, but to put him on the same level as Paul Pierce is quite silly.

Yes..... PP giveth and PP taketh away. Doc and Pierce owe their careers to KG.  Let's not kid ourselves KG not Pierce is the leader on that team.  KG not Doc is the person that changed the culture of the C's. KG would do even more in the leadership area but yields to Pierce due to his ego. Should they trade him......yes......Will they trade him???? No

Stepping up here to say that it's simply outrageous to even consider trading Paul.  A thousand times no.  He stays with us.  He's going to be that 60 year old guy sitting in the front row seat and giving our new Celtics a pep talk every now and then.

Don't blemish that for a couple young guns.

What ego? All athletes have egos and Pierce has grown up right in front of us especially the last 5 years.

He has matured into a great leader and he and KG share the responsibilities very well.

What "more" would KG do? To infer that KG is holding back in anyway because he is afraid to step on Pierce's toes in the locker room is ridiculous. There is nothing to indicate that is the case.

Not unless I was also trading Allen, Garnett, O'Neal, and perhaps Rondo.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Are you on something? He is a franchise player and arguably the GOAT of NBA history

Rookie year - 2007: Learning and training secretly with HOF'ers
2008: Lead the celtics to a 17th banner
2009: Had to stuggle with the team while KG was down
2010: Gets his minutes back to flow, leads team to the finals , game 7
2011: Traded to Chi-Town, to honor his name among Pippen and Jordan, lead the team to 1st in standings, Eastern Conf. Finals duel with the Chosen One(ended 4-2 since he did play on Game 6)

I would bring the Big 4 in and ask them if a trade could be arranged where would they like to go.  That way we are not wasting anybody's time.
