I'm glad KG is mentoring J3. Personally I like the insanity of KG.

I hope we put 3J in Maine or trade him along with Bradley for a veteran, a first round pick and then sign another younger veteran like Nate Robinson.

Nate > Bradley
Johnson < 1st round pick, random veteran

 ::)

Nate Robinson sucks.

Enough veterans. The entire starting 5 are veterans, the bench is veterans... just let the young guys develop. Rick Pitino is that you? Stop trying to trade everybody before they even play a game.

If the guy doesn't listen to KG or pass the test to be KG's apprentice he gets completely locked out from Garnett. Rumor has it that this is what happened to Patrick O'Bryant. Garnett tried to teach him something, POB didn't listen, KG stopped talking to him.

KG will spend most of his time pestering JJJ, so everyone else will get a break from having Garnett barking in their ear.

Doc wasn't really clear here, but I think it means that if a guy doesn't respond when KG offers to help, then that guy's career in Boston is basically done, because KG will write him off forever.  This famously happened to Paddy O'Blount (or Patrick O'Bryant), who blew KG off, only to have KG essentially ostracize him for the rest of the season.

Doc said that he looked great in camp today. The kid can already hit the jumper, run the floor, and block shots.

There are plenty of guys ready to give up or toss him in as trade fodder.   I am not.   I think he will be decent given time.

+1. It would be a mistake to even consider getting rid of this guy. He will come into his own around year 3, I have no doubt. I watched most of Purdue's games last year and we got him AND Twan. This may be one of Danny's best drafts since he's been here! The one's calling for him to be traded have no idea roflol...boy I can't wait till he really begins to show the talent he has!
