Most disappointing offseason ever?
Pretty close.
First and foremost, best wishes to Jeff for a healthy recovery. I I were him, I am not sure I would ever come back to basketball, but medical technology today is amazing, so who knows. I would love to get more explanation on this medical condition. It is something that just happened or is it something that has been missed in previous physicals?
And thank God Danny told us all on Monday that Green's medical condition was not a major concern. That statement in itself is disgraceful and just one more incidence of Ainge either lying about something or making a statement before he knew the facts.
As for this year's team, without Green to back up Pierce, it moves everyone up the bench a slot, which means the always-soon-to-be-injured Daniels becomes Pierce's backup. In terms of the season, all it likely means to me is a potential first round and out rather than a second round.
As for Danny and the last 10 months, I am not sure what he has done that has posters here heaping praise on him. Would love someone to tell me all of the great moves he has made. And I don't want to hear about unproven rookies or a 7-1 guy who has played most of his career in the NBDL or in Europe.
