Lopez vs. Bynum is a touch call and it really depends on the person.
I go with Lopez.
Andrew Bynum is a mess. When he is on, he is dominant. Hes got the talent to be a top center in the league and can be a number 2 option on a championship team. He bullies players in the paint and can clog up the opposing offense. However, hes extremely immature. We all see what he does. He knocked NOT ONLY Barea out of the air, but Gerald Wallace as well. He has anger issues. And he isnt going to be playing for the first five games of the season. Also, hes injury prone and its been a problem for the Lakers. And being injury prone doesnt just go away, unless youre Grant Hill.
Lopez is one of the top 3 offensive centers in the league. He can shoot the ball and can convert. This last season seems like an outlier, he suffered after coming back from mononucleosis. Also, he had Humphries gobbling up his rebounds. Humphries averaged 10 rebounds, Lopez averaged 6. 16 rebounds isnt a bad amount for a starting frontcourt. Also, he has not missed a game yet in his career and has played so much.
Sure, Lopez may not be dominant. But the argument between the two is closer than most think.
