Kuechly joins some pretty exclusive company taking home the Nagurski. Past winners include Brian Orakpo, Ndamukong Suh, Derrick Johnson, Terrell Suggs, Roy Williams, Dan Morgan, Charles Woodson and Champ Bailey.

That makes BC's linebacker 4-for-4 for individual awards where he was a finalist, with Kuechly taking home the Butkus Award, Rotary Lombari, Lott IMPACT and Bronko Nagurski Award. Luke was also named an All-American by the Walter Camp Foundation, FWAA and ESPN with more to come. He was also named ACC Defensive Player of the Year and was the only unanimous selection on the defensive side of the ball.

Congrats to Kuechly on a great accomplishment.  I hope he comes back to BC so that I can watch him in person for one more year but I won't blame him if he goes pro.

Nice to see Kuechly cleaning up on the awards.  He's certainly deserving of it.  Just a machine out there on the field at LB.  Never quite seen someone like him on BC who has such a nose for the ball.  He's literally in on almost every play.  Sideline to sideline.

I wonder how much of the Herzlich thing will affect his decision regarding the draft?

The Nagurski & Butkus awards should be enough to get the "40" up there with Ruth's "65" and Flutie's "22".  Hopefully they do the right thing there.

I think there is no doubt that Kuechly gets his number retired and well deserved.  Maybe not with this administration but eventually he will.

And man it sure would be nice to see Kuechly in a Pats uniform.  The guy erases alot of holes.
