that wouldn't shock me

Didn't even think of this... this is probably the answer!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Quote
WALTHAM — Jeff Green remains unable to practice with the Boston Celtics after the C's "found something" in his physical.

Danny Ainge, Boston's president of basketball operations, declined to say what the team discovered that warranted keeping him off the floor.

"We anticipate he'll be here soon in practice," Ainge said. "He's going through the tests again today and tomorrow, and he should be fine."

When asked whether it was an ankle or knee injury, Ainge responded, "I'm not going to tell you what it is."

He was later asked whether the injury would jeopardize the 1-year deal Green recently signed that's reportedly worth $9 million.

"No, no, no," Ainge said. "We're not even close to that. It's just precautionary. Practice just started today really, when we had our whole team here. It'll be resolved this week."

update: just saw this posted by sherrod on csnne.com

hmmm

That doesn't sound too worrying. Good news (relatively speaking), I guess.

Drug test?

Is that part of the physical?

Sincerely hope there's nothing serious enough to call off the deal.  We're not really in a position to replace Green if there is something physically wrong (as anything serious would also affect is sign & trade value).

It would be just like this offseason if Dell Demps called Danny to tell him he's ready to resume CP3 talks.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

Could be related to the stalled Paul talks.

I don't believe this has anything to with CP.  However, count me among those who'd be ecstatic if we end up with him.

He has a tattoo of Brian Scalabrine on his right buttock...  Celtics were taken aback a bit by this, but after more psychological tests he should be fine.

which of course raises the question of whose image is tattooed on his LEFT buttock. tell us!!!

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Mark Blount...  Danny is holding him out of practice just to make sure all is well. :)

(With the disappointments of the last couple days and now this news of Green, of which we're not certain of what this is, I thought a touch of levity would help liven the spirits!).
