  • Rondo = Good
guys, the way this off-season is going, im just going to assume it's something bad, some weird medical issue that will cause him to miss significant time.

better to assume that than think this is somehow a sign of a coming windfall.

here i thought daniels would be the first out hurt...and once again we have no real back up for paul pierce if green is indeed hurt...don't like counting on daniels or sasha to back up PP

WALTHAM — Jeff Green remains unable to practice with the Boston Celtics after the C's "found something" in his physical.

Danny Ainge, Boston's president of basketball operations, declined to say what the team discovered that warranted keeping him off the floor.

"We anticipate he'll be here soon in practice," Ainge said. "He's going through the tests again today and tomorrow, and he should be fine."

When asked whether it was an ankle or knee injury, Ainge responded, "I'm not going to tell you what it is."

He was later asked whether the injury would jeopardize the 1-year deal Green recently signed that's reportedly worth $9 million.

"No, no, no," Ainge said. "We're not even close to that. It's just precautionary. Practice just started today really, when we had our whole team here. It'll be resolved this week."

Are the C's using janitors and ball boys in order to practice? They must have had like 6 guys today -- no Rondo, no Pierce, no Green, no rookies yet and no Brandon Bass. Not an auspicious way to begin a really brief training camp.

possibly a ploy to confuse media, so they could adjust green's contract for an S&T without media knowing?

I thought Pierce and Rondo were also still sitting out. Glad to hear they are back already.
