We can't trade him to either at the trade deadline or at the end of the season. I can't remember which, but his contract wont allow it.

So try to figure an other way to get a guy here that doesn't really want to be hear and be gone by the end of the season.

And then that only leave Palovic for Pierce's back up. Good idea!

90 Days from when he signed, unless they have put in a new provision for this season, that allows him to be traded earlier, due to the short offseason.

March 10th would be the 90 day expiration.  According to Marc Stein, the trade deadline is March 15th.  Looks like we'll have a 5-day window.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

This is why I would not be surprised if they changed that rule for this year, and put a different date in, due to the short off-season.
