No thanks, he hasn't aged well and looks more of Vlad Rad than James Posey.

No thanks, maybe 2 years ago but not now.

Indiana still has a ton of cap room after this.  Who else is left for free agents that are any good?

Could it be related to the OJ Mayo sign and trade?

I don't think so.  They're only going to be taking on around $3 million in salary, which would keep them well below the cap.

I prefer Daniels.  But I would definitely rather have Posey than Sasha.  Any one know if Sasha's deal is guaranteed?

Arron Afflalo, although Indiana seems set at SG if they trade for Mayo and have George as well.

Perhaps a late bid for Nene? But they just got West and already have Hibbert.

At this point, Posey is more a stretch four than a SF, isn't he?

Yep. I was a fervent supporter of bringing Posey back a few years ago but now I think it's a terrible idea, he is nowhere near the player he once was and I think he even has an attitude problem now.

Indiana should have enough money to go after Nene.

Sign and trade Hibbert for Nene.

Collison/Hill
George/Mayo
Granger
West/Hansbrough
Nene/Foster

+ Stephenson, D. Jones, Pendergraph

They'd probably still have money to add another wing.

No to Posey, he'll probably retire. Can't move.

Yeah, he played a solid chunk of his minutes at the PF spot. Which typically hurt the team overall in 07-08 when he and KG were both superior players to now (better offense usually gave up more defensively than when Perk was in). If we tried that now, yuck!

As a SF he can still hit shots, but he's no longer a good defensive player.
