Doc rivers mentioned that one of the things he think Dallas had that helped them beat miami was 3 point shooting.

but we really dont have much 3 point shooting on the bench...no one who can really fill that Eddie house role. I think one of dannys signings needs to be a 3point shooter

plus, im not confident that Marquis daniels can go a whole season without getting injured

id be happy with deshawn stevenson.  haven't heard much about him.  i guess he'd probably ask for the mini-MLE after his playoff performance.  not sure he's worth it.  he'd be a nice piece, but wouldn't put us over the top by any means.

also, one thing about deshawn stevenson is i think given his shooting percentages over the course of his career, there's reason to believe that his 3 pt shooting in the playoffs was an aberration.

the mans defense is great and his 3 point shooting is decent he can guard the best of them as a role player off the bench he can be a good piece for the team

Often injured and plays no D, but only Ray shoots the three better than Peja. Been coming off the bench for couple of years now so wouldn't think money would be problem. Hits three's in his sleep!

Stevenson is a perfect fit imo. I would give him the MLE in a heartbeat. I think if Kwame would take the MLE I would go with him just cause a big body is needed and he's not 40. Since I don't think that's happening Stevenson is a great use of the MLE. Then sign a min C.

Plus he hates Lebron and that's always a plus.

Well, Reggie Williams is a 40% career 3 pt. shooter, but I don't know if he could get minutes with his poor defense.

It'll be tough for any two guard to get minutes with Jeff Green mopping up all available court time behind Pierce and Ray.

We'd be looking more for a situation sub than a rotation player. A Jason Kapono type.

Despite shooting above the league average for 3PT%, Boston was ranked 26th in 3pt makes last year with 408. (League average was 530.) We were also 28th in 3PA, meaning only 2 other teams took less 3PT shots than we did.

In 2007-2008, we were 8th with 596 3PM, league average was 537.

A key aspect to not lose sight either was that back in 2007-2008, we also were a top 10 team in FTM and FTA.

Last year we were 20th in FTA makes, 22 in FTA.

So I guess the thinking, more 3's leads to less FTs isn't very accurate.

Yeah I like him but the lack of solid defense would be a no go on this team.

Just saw the news above, I'm not a big fan of Pavlovic. He's okay but that's about it.

It sounds like Bradley might see some minutes backing up Ray too. I wonder how good he's shooting the 3 now a days. Either way I would be happy to see Bradley take a big leap this year but my hopes are not up.

Jason Kapono was available before the Lakers made a move

They signed him for the Vet Min

We could have had him for that price
