yeah, you pretty much summed it up.  if they're healthy, i might go as high as 3 games.

I think we can classify this off-season as "slightly surreal", at the very least. There have been so many rumors to report, and most of them didn't just come out of nothing, since they've been based on actual talks. The David West one is a good example. To be fair though, we did report it as a rumor.

But yeah, I can see what you mean. It's highly doubtful anyone on this blog (or on any other blog for that matter) isn't feeling the same thing you are, rondohondo.

I thought this message on Twitter described things pretty accurately:

I joined this site, because of all the Paul talk, and because the forum I used to go to, (Gamepro) got shut down. Even if all the rumors I've been following on here and on twitter aren't true, the site seems like a pretty cool place..think I'll stay.

besides, i heard from a reliable source that danny is trading a couple of first round picks, bradley, pavlovic, and rondo for chris paul. and he has already engineered a trade of JJJ, wilcox, and green for dwight howard.

after that, i saw where danny is trading pierce and 2 second rounders for durant and perkins.

until JO goes down and daniels gets hurt...they have nobody to back up an injured prone old center...i like green, bass and wilcox....johnson maybe...the other guys are old or not nba talent

It's weird, people on here are mad that we've upgraded our bench, but upset when we try to upgrade our PG position.

Danny Ainge is dammed if he do and dammed if he don't.

We cruched NYC last year in the playoffs.  Rondo got hurt too and we had nothing at center.   We are one year older but our chances are as good as they was last year in my opinion.  Battier isn't going to help MIA that much, they only have one ball to pass around and same is true of NYC.   Bulls may radically alter their team  with Howard.   I think Bass and Wilcox give us energy guys we have lacked the past and inside nosed players.

I am always excited at the start of a season.   They still have to play the games folks.   I personally welcome when the fairweather fans leave the team.... 

I stayed with them since 78.  I don't plan on leaving them.  I bought NBA pass with Pitino's horrible teams and the last few good years.  I love this team.
