Makes little sense to trade him now.


More teams will have more tradeable assets latter in the year. Wait till then.


In the meantime, if a trade comes up that could add players to Orlando that makes him happy, so much the better.   

Plus, if they really are determined to trade him to NJ, then it makes sense to wait so that NJ's draft pick is that much worse.  If they deal Howard now, it's a late pick from NJ.  Deal him later, and it's potentially a mid-rounder.

Let NJ stink and then make the trade to get a better pick.


In the meantime, cash in as much as you can with Howard this season.
