The Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Clippers are expected to also be aggressive bidders for Dwight Howard.

According to Wojnarowski

well, no way the Celtics are beating a package from the bulls or clips.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=6su3kyo

does anybody beat that Bulls package?

how about a package of Gordon, Aminu, T-wolves pick and Kaman's expiring for Howard + Turkoglu.  that's way better than anything the Nets package.

clips offer will be Jordan, Bledsoe, Aminu and minny pick

Chicago can offer Noah , Gibson, Asik and picks

C's would need a 3rd team involved

I say he goes to the Bulls.

question:  would howard stay in chicago with derrick rose if traded there?  my guess is yes.

Otis Smith usually scoffs at most of my armchair GM ideas. But he didn't reject my Dwight-for-LeBron trade.

@MagicInsider

Probably the only trade where you can trade Dwight straight up.

Lakers have clearly made decision to focus on trying to acquire Dwight Howard. Lining up rest of their assets to duel New Jersey for DH12

Lakers are gambling, trading Lamar Odom to Dallas for a trade exception to make room for Hedo.  I hope New Jersey gets Dwight. Oh boy do I.

Any exception created by dealing Odom isn't big enough to take in Turkoglu. I'm not seeing LA's endgame here, nor why Dallas would help.

Or Not? They are really going to look stupid if they can't land Howard.....

I don't think that trade exception is about Dwight Howard ... and they moved so quickly after this CP3 deal fell apart.

The Lakers must have something else lined up already with that trade exception.
