If the Lakers manage to get Chris Paul without giving up Bynum, then Dwight will be traded to them as well. :-\

might as well get used to it.  the doors are open at LA for Howard and they will do anything to get him in.

I've just concided this ,Lakers get all the players and have all the luck and NEVER have to rebuild .

It seems to be like the Yankees in baseball,it is just their right to have every allstar player in their prime every year., when ever they decide to upgrade everything falls there way.

Maybe they will have a run of bad luck someday. and bring their team back down to earth.

There is one senero that could derail even the Lakers for a LONG TIME..... If Miami was to trade WADE to Orlando for Howard.

I guess preventing superteams doesn't apply to the lakers.

good lord.  the moves danny made today has me feeling excited for this year, even if i don't think it changes much for our playoff prospects.

but if the lakers get dwight howard and cp3 after all, my interest in the nba would be back in the toilet.  i really, really hope dwight goes to the nets.

i wouldn't be so sure of that.  lakers don't really have any good picks to offer, and other than bynum they won't have any tradeable assets after the cp3 deal.  do you really think orlando would trade howard for bynum straight up?  now there's a lopsided deal that the league ought to block.

Sounds like Howard wants to be the king of Brooklyn and Russia.

CP3 will be a Laker..its only a matter of a day or two. Houston will pony up some more younger players in the re-worked deal. LA will get to keep Bynum and then trade him for Dwight. </pukes>

It is their "RIGHT" to  cherry pick  any players they desire.  When one gets little past 30 yrs old , then time to reload ....simply open the door and the players walk in.

One day ...I predict when Kobe is gone they will raid OKC and Clipper teams of all their prime age Superstar talent .  I'm sure the master plan is already in the works to steal their talent .

Dwight will end up in LA and it's going to be ridiculous. It wont even be fair best PG and C at there postions on the same team, can nearly say the same thing about Kobe it will be insane.

He'll talk to NJ and whoever the third team is but he's headed to the Lakers to team up with his buddies especially since Paul will be there by the weekend.

unless Orlando is okay with trading Dwight for Bynum straight up, how does that happen?  Dwight has no leverage.  this isn't a Carmelo Anthony situation.  the Lakers won't have the cap space to sign Dwight in the off-season.  if Dwight makes it to free agency, he won't sign with the Lakers.  Dwight only goes there via trade, and the Lakers are likely trading every last trade asset they have other than Bynum to get Chris Paul.

He's likely to go to the Nets if the Magic don't want Bynum and little else.

Will come down to how Smith views Lopez versus Bynum, along with whatever picks/assets come along.
