Per Chris Forsberg :

Jeff Green is here and has a one-year deal with Celtics. Doc unsure if it's the qualifying offer.

I'm so glad its a one year deal. Need as much cap space as possible next year. Good job by Danny thus far.

Good.  Filling out the bench nicely.  With our newfound glut of guys who can play 4 hopefully we can use him exclusively at the 3.

Yeah I think there's very little chance barring an injury that he plays many minutes at the 4. That's something I'm very happy about.

My only concern is if he does play really well this year he's going to get paid next year.

Does this mean DA has given up on CP3 to Boston idea?

Good job by Danny thus far.

he'd better do a good job this year after destroying the best team in the league last year.

I think he likes where is at right now. C's really need him to solidify the bench. Get it done Jeff!

For who? The only high quality players are going to be DH, CP3 and Dwill. Dwill isn't coming here and unless a trade is done CP3 isn't either (trade seems highly unlikely at this point). DH is not coming to the Celtics, I don't know why nobody accepts this. So the space is for nada.

As a GM, he can't assume that and share your thoughts. He needs to gives it his best, and he can only do that if he has the cap space.

Great Job Ainge! All the additions to this team might make us a title contender once more. Wicox, Dooling, Bass, and now Jeff Green on a 1 year deal. We are not only good this season but, have cap space next year thanks to all the 1 year deals

I look at it the other way: Let's hope that we HAVE to pay him a lot of money next year.
