confused.  how the heck are the rockets being forced to give up even more in order to get the same haul as before?


How is this trade getting any worse for the rockets and they still havent pulled out?

Its almost as if theyre going out of their way to assist the lakers make the trade happen. I dont get it.

Yeah I thought most of the extra clue was supposedly coming from the Lakers.

yeah, the veto is looking more and more like a good thing for the lakers and an awful thing for the rockets, unless the lakers are actually forced to give up bynum as well as gasol.  that would be huge -- literally.

i guess the NBA is compensating for the last gasol trade in which not nearly enough was given up for him?  only it's punishing the rockets instead of the lakers.

This p---es me off you know what by now we already know CP3 is headed there no matter what. If stern denies the trade it would be HELL so that's not happening.

The only thing to hope for pretty PLEASE don't allow LA to get Dwight.

Won't happen.  Boy Wonder Morey is going to deliver CP3 to LA no matter the cost, so that LA doesn't have to give up more assets.

I doubt that it'll be one or the other or if anything one of them along with Odom.

I am expecting the league office to continue to block this proposed trade.

I think they are looking for something completely different. Not small changes in the margin.

certainly seems like.  i never knew morey was such a lakers fan.  whats the point of him making these moves to make his team better if he's just gifting the lakers the conference?

yeah, unless stern is totally full of crap and he is only concerned about saving face (so any token change will do), i can't imagine this trade going through unless the lakers are forced to give up more than just gasol, odom, and a couple 1st round picks they're never going to really use anyway.
