bittersweet moment right now. Baby started out as a fat chubby kid out of New Orleans to 6th man of the year candidate. He earned the big contract. Best of luck in Orlando

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Last time I was at a game at the Garden was against the Utah Jazz in December 2008 (I think). When I was there, I was also visiting a buddy from college, and I'd forgotten my Garnett jersey.

I decided to buy a 'shirt-jersey', and I decided it wasn't going to be from the 'Big 4'.

You know I went Baby. Hustle, effort, and just a little bit of egotistical 'crazy'. I like my t-shirts quirky.

Big Baby gave us a whole lot more than a typical second round pick. I hope he has the best of luck in Orlando.

He definitely had a knack for hitting big shots.  Won us a few games.  Earned his paycheck.

Mark my words....Brandon Bass will have less of an impact than Big Baby ever did in Celtic green.

i agree BUT glen was never on the same page as doc, we need some good team chemistry bass should add that hes not a person who needs or wants the ball.

glen will excel with the magic if he stays in shape i expect a good season from glen

First started watching him at LSU.  Get paid!  Good luck in Orlando big fella.  Have some awesome memories of him in a Celtics uniform.

true... I'll miss that.   But I don't know if I exactly want Nate back either, though

His halfcourt to rim fast break dunk in Game 6 of the 07/08 Finals still makes me smile. Two different Lakers both made "business decisions" and didn't take what would have been a clear charge.

Despite being overmatched against Rashard Lewis and Dwight Howard in 08/09 he still hit the big shot in Game 5 to make up for the free throws he'd just caused.

It didn't work out, you never lost any weight to play to your potential but I'm happy you just got paid enough to set you for life.
