Well, I was a fan that was panning for him to come to Boston - even on the one-yr rental.
Thank God it didn't happen. He is immensely talented, but he seems like a spoiled child here.
Rondo may have his quirks, but I'm glad we still have him.
Sorry, Rondo.
I'd be furious in his spot too, you're told you are to be traded its a done deal and then the league kills the deal. That's bound to anger a player, any player.
I wouldn't be furious. At all.
I'd go to sleep knowing that I was still a multi-millionaire getting paid to work/play the game I love.
If KG and Ray could use their best years trying to make Minny/SEA better - then why can't CP3 stick around in NOH for a bit.
Just my take.
Its not just the trade not happening, but the way it happened, how the league blocked it after his boss said it was going to happen.
So if you're paid millions you'd be okay with whatever your work conditions are, wherever you have to work? I don't believe that's true, but whatever floats your boat.
Faf - look I'm admittedly old school. I'm just getting tired of "The Decisions" and now "CP3-Gate."
Like I stated earlier - the difference with KG-Ray was that, to me - they put in the time with Minny/SEA. They didn't get to Boston until they were 31/32 respectively, and on the down-turn in their careers.
CP3 is 25, Lebron was 26? So what if their teams declined?
Put in your time.
Things are just too different now. It's not good.
Admittedly, I was panning for this guy, but with the details coming out now I was wrong.
The funny thing here is that he MAY still get traded to Boston - if so, I will be more hesitant to cheer for the guy.
