Been there. Done that. So a definite No!
We need battle strong, and defensively minded physical players to  guard the best guards / small forwards in the league. Offensive skills a plus.
Quis is done!

It would be nice to have some wing players who can shoot the ball (from the perimeter).

What did Jeff Green shoot from 3 last year? 30%. Marquis Daniels, in his two years here, he was what? He was down around 20%, right? And Tony Allen, heck, he was just as bad as M.Daniels was.

I miss the days of James Posey and Eddie House knocking down jump shots consistently. Regardless of whether it's Rondo or Paul, it'd be nice if those guys had some (reserve) wings around them that stroke the ball from downtown.

Said differently, role players who can give the team adequate spacing offensively.

Agreed.  I don't know if I'd label him as "injury-prone".  That injury last season was a freak accident that could happen to anyone.

over / under on the amount of games he plays?

If Leon Powe and Delonte West are signed, put West, Powe, Daniels, and Jermaine O'Neal in order of your prediction for most to least games played this season.

Daniels is usually good for 20-30 games missed per season.  He is about as worthy of the label "injury-prone" as Tony Allen.

Good move.  A gamble healthwise, but if he's healthy, he's a valuable rotation player, which is more than you can say for most guys at the minimum.

He knows our system and his role and plays very well for us in it.

We love him and he loves us.

He probably won't be too expensive.

What's not to like???
yep short season, no preseason, not many practices, this is a smart move
if the team stays as is  ???  he's our 3rd string sf, but also a guy who can play sg and even pg
smart solid signing
hope he has no major injury concerning his spine

Why bring this guy back? In 2 seasons with Boston he has not been able to play an entire season. He cannot be depended on and is a walking injury. I wish he would just retire and save us the trouble of having to watch him get hurt once again. What a waste of a roster spot

So far Boston has 2 guys that WILL miss a ton of games in JO and Daniels. I was hoping for someone that we could count on. But it seems we get this tomato can again.

I have mixed feelings on this one. He is a productive bench player when he is healthy, but he is also an injury magnet.
Ditto

We have to fill 9 spots, for the vet min I have no problem bringing back Marquis to fill one.
this...continuity is worth something

well...when they trade Jeff Green and Daniels is looked to as the primary back up to Pierce...then what? This dude is done. STOP bringing back guys that can't contribute to this team. The bench is going to be depended on and so far we have 2 rookies...avery bradly and a broken down daniels...
