I will also say that on the human side, I am kind of disappointing he is playing basketball at all.  After having scary neck injuries with very little actual contact 2 years in a row, I would think it would be a sign to cash out while you can still walk.  Obviously it is his life, and I am sure he has talked with all of the best doctors...but still, I know I will be holding my breath just a little bit whenever he is on the floor.

Here's hoping we never see another player carried off the parquet on a stretcher.

And I sure as Hades don't want to watch the same guy get carried off again.

Love the talent, but not every body is cut out for professional sports.

From what I remember of the medical stuff, Quisy's body was prone to spinal problems.  Not worth it.

It's just not.

"Hey guys, we're [probably] trading your buddy Rondo, but as a consolation, we're bringing back Marquis!"

-Danny to KG, Allen and Pierce.

But really, not awful. Still need more depth there, though.

  • Thank you Eddie!
Nice... if his neck isn't as bad as Manning's after that freak fall last season, this works.

I have mixed feelings on this one. He is a productive bench player when he is healthy, but he is also an injury magnet.
Ditto

We have to fill 9 spots, for the vet min I have no problem bringing back Marquis to fill one.
Ditto

I love Marquis

The #Celtics are close to reaching an agreement to bring Marquis Daniels back this season, according to two sources.

I like it... I like it a lot.

+1

I feel the same way when I see Leon Powe play as well.  If these guys knew what it was like to live life as a disabled person I bet they wouldn't value that salary so highly.

Yeah, I'm a little worried about Quis.  Don't want another Reggie Lewis situation.

  • It's all about the TEAM!
He knows our system and his role and plays very well for us in it.

We love him and he loves us.

He probably won't be too expensive.

What's not to like???
