Boston's delivered New Orleans multiple 3-team trade scenarios for CP3, trying to find something acceptable to Hornets, sources tell Y!

Some good news? Maybe?

Combine that with the Clippers reassuring Gordon he won't be apart of a trade and the Warriors saying the same about Curry I'd gotta take that as great news.

Now all we have to do is convince the Hornets that a bunch of pieces that are probably significantly less valuable than Rondo are worth making a trade.

can someone explain to me why NO would care where CP wants to go at this point? He's not going to sign an extension to go anywhere, so the Clips and the Warriors aren't going to give up their top chips...

Why would NO, then, take a lesser package from either of those teams because CP has no interest in playing in BOS long term?

Why wouldn't they just take the best package offered to them?

They won't.  The suggestion here is that the C's are not willing to offer as much as other teams, and may back off completely because they are afraid Paul won't sign.

But it just doesn't pass the smell test.

Amick does a nice job, and has come good connections.  But I think he is being used as a patsy here.

Although its also worth noting that the suggestions of Curry and Gordon not being in the table could just be posturing as well, and at the last minute, one of those guys could be the chip to put their team over the top.

That's not really how it's written Chris. My reading is that the Cs have somehow moved to the back of the pack simply because CP doesn't want to come here. Which makes little sense...

But I agree with you about GS and LAC. They definitely could decide to offer up Gordon or Curry...that would be a mistake IMO especially for GS because I really don't see him signing there long term and they wont really be good enough to make a run this year.

At least the Cs could get a good run out of CP3 this year if he is in fact one and done...
