I thought this was for Easy E, and was thinking it would be crazy if Easy E and Heavy D died on the same day.

Anyhow...rest in peace Ed.  a part of Celts lore.
Yup

RIP, Mr. Maccauley.

Besides being a Celtic and a HOFer, he was instrumental in getting us Bill Russell.

#22.

RIP to the team's first superstar, and perhaps the most underrated player in Celtics history.  Macauley helped put the Celtics on the map, although of course his biggest contribution was being part of the package traded for Bill Russell.

A great player, who I wish more youngsters would read up on.

It would be tough for eazy-e to die...since he has been dead for 16 years http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eazy-E

I just put something up, Jeff.  I can't say that I remember him, but history recognizes his greatness.

RIP Easy Ed.  Another part of the Celtics family gone...

I dread the day when this has some of the other more universally recognizable names in an RIP thread.

easy ed is dead. if you dont know, he was the one in the trade that brought russell to boston. before the trade he played 6 years with the celtics.

career average of 17.5 points per game.

RIP

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
