I was at the BC/FSU game Thurs night.    Wow was that bad. They seemed very poorly coached.  But then again high schoolish mistakes might not exactly be bad coaching.

Bad coaching and overmatched talent.  BC football is at rock bottom in all areas.  Time to start over.

The football progam is just about at rock bottom.  This team plays with no emotion or passion and horrible coaching.  Recruiting has been on the downside for a few years now.  The near future doesn't look much prettier.

Spaz needs to go.  He's a career assistant coach.  Not a head coach and he doesn't seem to recruit worth a like.

Once the basketball teams falls on its face later this winter, I really hope they start taking a strong look at the top and Gene.  He's done more harm to BC athletics than good, IMO.

Me and my bro went to PSU. My sister and dad went to BC.  I've been in mourning lately. Felt like I lost a father.

Just to show how life is circular....

BC Coach Spaziani went to PSU and was like JoePa's first recruit. Sorry Dons.

Im so disgusted with the state of BC athletics Im considering going the paper bag route to the game on saturday.  Sure BC had their fair share of injuries, but there is no excuse for the produt they are putting out on the field.

Towards the end of Tom Obrien's Tenure, BC was routinely around the #25 mark in recruiting class.  Since then they have had trouble being around #50.

Spaz was a good defensive coordinator but he is a terrible coach.  The complete tipping point for me was the punt from the FSU 43 yard line last week when they were down by 28 in the 4th quarter.  I mean really?  if thats not throwing in the towl I don't know what is.

BC needs to clean house and get some fresh blood in there that will not talk about how hard the kids are working when they are 2-6. I dont care, the Spaz excuse train has got to stop.

As a UMass guy I wouldn't say

"Me and my bro went to PSU. My sister and dad went to BC.  I've been in mourning lately. Felt like I lost a father."

I would have said...my bro and I

Seriously....look at UMASS's program recently in both football and basketball, before you complain

He's a good guy (met him) and a very solid defensive coordinator. When I was at BC, the guys on the team I knew absolutely loved the guy. He's just not a head coach.

He's a career assistant coach.  Some assistants just don't fly at the head coach level and he's one of them.  He just doesn't know how to recruit and seems over his head out there right now.

2-7.  Beat UMass and Maryland.

Unfortunately, I have tickets to the BC-ND in South Bend next weekend.  I just want them to make it competitive and not get embarassed on national tv like they did last Thursday night.

BC-ND is still a cool game to go to just because of the Jesuit rivalry. As a new Terrier I'm forced by law to hate BC, but I'll be rooting for you guys in that game.

Yeah, this will be my 5th time in South Bend.  Great place to see a college football game.  Cool campus and awesome atmosphere.

Yeah, I went to my first ever big time college football game this year when Duke was in town and was impressed with the BC crowd. I can only imagine how it is over there.

I was at that game, almost threw up in my seat when Freese missed the chip shot fieldgoal for the win
