Well, that's that.  Giants gonna at least get a field goal.

Defense worked hard all game but at the end, wouldn't you know it, the Patriots needed their defense to come up with a stop to seal the win and they couldn't do it.

That's that for me . . . I've seen enough of the Pats this season.  No desire to watch them anymore.  I'll watch 'em if they make the playoffs . . . by no means guaranteed this year.

Really, really awful year for Boston sports.  Red Sox collapse, no Celtics, and the Patriots are nothing more than a sickening, frustrating tease.

No, I rank this up there with the 4th and 2 game and the '07-'08 Superbowl.

Last week was not like this.

Games like this make me want to forget that the Patriots even exist.  They make me feel disgusted for being stupid enough to watch.

Tough loss. Thankfully the Bills also lost making the AFC East still very much the Patriots to be had. However, the Jets are now very much in it.

Next week's game is huge now.  The Patriots need to win next week to stop this slide, and then they need to be sure and win all of the cupcake games on their schedule (Colts, Broncos, Redskins, Chiefs, Dolphins).  Unless they can do that, I could easily see the season coming down to the final game against Buffalo.

To put things into perspective, what the Pats did on that last Giants drive was the equivalent to the Celtics asking Avery Bradley and Von Wafer to make defensive stops in the 4th quarter. Yuk.

The Pats seem to be the Phoenix Suns of the NFL or something...

Yeah, I don't know what the deal is with all the super young and unproven players on defense for this team, considering they have a rich owner and are (ostensibly, anyway) a perennial contender.

I saw last week.  This game was way worse.  Especially because of the way it ended, and the opponent.

Well, for what it's worth the Bruins are dead last in the East even after winning their last two.
