Never ever say this to undermine your own union....

If I was JaVale McGee's agent I would usher him off to the Greek professional basketball league just so I can save my own credibility. His NBA career is OVAH!

How is it a career limiting move?  It's not like he's crossing a picket line.  It's not like the press is to be believed...But if one were to believe them, McGee is stating the obvious.

Not everybody in this union has been the receipient of millions.  Some, like McGee, think they probably can't afford to waste a bunch of a limited window of opportunity banging their heads against the wall.  If things are the way they appear publicly, negotiations are going nowhere.

This guy is due for a huge payday.  Probably doesn't want to waste a lot of time spinning his wheels.

I suppose the media hacked his twitter account, too. Whatever. Time will tell about Ja Vale McGees career along with 400 other NBA players. I imagine that there are a lot of angry players that want to earn that big paycheck and get on with their lives.

It makes him unpopular to the players, not the teams.

More to the point, he is just ahead of the curve on this one.

I'd take him a heartbeat.  Athletic big seven footers don't grow on trees.  I still think he won the dunk contest last year. I wish it did hurt his career so we could get him.

10.1 PPG, 8 rpg and 2.4 BPG with .55%FG is something I could live with and would help us.  He is 7 and 255 too and he can jump.
