I wasn't around when the right to veto a trade resided with the league. How was the previous experience? How many Dan Gilberts do we have here?
I think there's been some grumbling about potential vetoes in the past (one was Carlos Boozer for Trevor Ariza and the overseas rights to Ricky Rubio), but we've kind of adopted a de facto "no vetoes except for collusion" rule, I think.
I wish we had a list of all the trades made in the league; I know there have been some doozies.
