Also ...was it just me....or was thats sideline interview with Jim Koch the most awkward thing I've ever seen on a sideline.

1.  Did that reporter just hate Koch or did he want to kill him?  I mean omg. What was up with that?

2. Koch didn't even notice!  He was just so excited about beer. I don't think anyone on Earth is half as excited about beer. I mean that man loves beer.

3. Koch is extremely socially awkward. He comes off as the most awkward guy on the planet that just loves beer. He has no idea when a guy wants to kill him. I think he had no idea he was at a football game. He makes Zuckerburg look like Joan Rivers and Obama combined. I mean geeze.

I totally noticed that last night too--the shot of the interviewer as it cut away was hilarious! It was painful to listen to Koch speak, though. Brutal.

Even though the Jag's D was sending out it's scrubs, I liked the command and Poise Mallet showed leading the offense. He seemed vocal, confident and like he could be a solid leader. Also, gotta like his size, he's Bledsoe big. But, it is just a preseason game. Also, Dane Fletcher had a bit of Brushi in him last night! I was surprised to see he only had five tackles, as he seemed to always be around the ball.

I definitely thought Mallet purposely took off a little last night to quiet his critics that say he's a statue.  Fine by me.

Overall very happy with the outcome of the game (obviously).  Lots to be excited about (Price, Ridley, Solder, two backup QBs).  But I only saw snippets of the game, as I was traveling.

Anyone have any sense about how the rookie TE drafted in the late rounds did (Lee Smith, I think is his name).
Celtics fan for life.
