Haha...but so is Steven segal. And he's police too
In hindsight I was thinking it would have been great to draft Segal as my bouncer. I would have wanted to draft the current bloated version of him for comedic purposes.
Do you saw yout T shirt Chicago?
I did see it and thank you...it will be flying off of the shelves at our souvenier shop!
I should probably apologize and explain to everyone for not being as involved the last few days as I would have liked. My wife's grandfather passed away (not unexpectedly) so we have been traveling. As you can imagine, I have had things taking precedence over the pub draft. When I have had a chance I have scanned over the messages and there's been some good things going on!
I will be away for the day but then will be back with time to post more and give my thoughts on all the bars. Quickly though I can say I have had a lot of fun with the draft and would enjoy hanging out at any of the bars!
Hey sorry about your Grandpa in law, my fiance's grandmother (the last biological 'grand' either of us had) passed 6 months ago or so, and it was brutal for her, and surprisingly tough for me. Tough times, but since you expected it, maybe not all bad. Sometimes when you know its coming, it gives you a chance for some real closure, which is good.
Thank you. It's a trying time when anyone passes but I think less so when you have had a chance to prepare for it. Her grandfather meant a lot to everyone in the family so it was still tough on them and like you, it was suprisingly tough for me...I think that that is because of how tough it was on people that I care so much for.
My grandmother passed a few months ago after 11 years in a nursing home. It was a bit of a surprise as she was physically healthy but with her alzheimers had stopped recognizing anyone nor remembered anything years ago. While it was sad I chose to celebrate all the great memories with her rather than mourn her loss. She was a wonderful lady, and one of the most important people in my life. I still cried but they were happy tears rather than sorrowfull tears and I smiled and laughed at many memories that I hadn't thought of in a long time...
