  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I didn't see it as taken.  I'll take the safety kick and go with Harpoon IPA.

well done, can't go wrong with that

Yeah Harpoon IPA is the east coast's version of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

Seriously, try them together, its a blatant twin.

Just so happens its a twin of a really good beer.

I've been enjoying Harpoon's UFO this summer.  Tasty and lighter.

I don't know what it is, but I don't really like Harpoon all that much. Doesn't detract me from going to their festivals, but at the end of day I'm not a huge fan.

Meh, if my options are bud light, coors light, and mgd, then I'd take either Sierra or Harpoon.  But thankfully, I often have better options, options so good in fact, that I've started to thumb my nose at Harpoon IPA and SN Pale Ale.

EDIT: ^hmmmm, I don't know what my point was other than that I'm a bit of a beer snob, I guess.

I tend to agree - I don't really thumb my nose at em, but I'm not a big fan of either.

Unfortunately my options are severely limited as I live in a dry county now  >:(

Yikes!
I spent one night in a dry county in Tennessee a few years back.  I didn't realize it was a dry county until too late (I had been driving for a really long time on a cross country trip, and had been really looking forward to a beer -- ).

Yea Harpoon isn't always my first choice, but I do love the outdoor drinking events they hold.  Their beer tour is good as well; well I mean the you get 30 minutes to drink as much from their 10 taps as you can out of a 4oz glass part.  ;D

On another Harpoon note, I just had their UFO Pumpkin for the first time, and I was disappointed in the lack of pumpkin flavor that was present, I could barely taste it.  Don't know if it was a bad brew or what.

I really like their Apple Cider, though I don't think my stomach could handle more than two.

My mother was real cheap. Okay, practical. She would never pay a bill on time. "If they ain't cutting it off, I ain't paying." She would say, "The first bill is a suggestion. If they really want you to pay it, then they'll come and tap on your window." Her whole philosphy of life was: if you die owing money, then you've won.
