My specialty food is simple, awesome, and it lines your stomach.

'Pub Fries'.

Natural in-house cut french fries, fried or baked (your choice) to perfection, sparsely seasoned, topped with your choice of cheese, bacon, and/or gravy, with a choice of ranch or ketchup. Also comes in sweet potation, or half and half, if you're a chick or sumthin.

Its easy, everyone loves it, and it ain't gonna kill you coming up.

Great choice.  If I were playing, this would have been one of my picks.

Here's my "Cool Manhattan Story, Bro":

My old roommate (Irish background, which is semi-relevant), once told his mom he was hungover from having too many Manhattans.  She asked, "You like Manhattans, huh?" and he of course said he did, a little too much maybe.  She said, "I always figured you would, I had about seven of them the night you were conceived."

I need to catch a flight so I'll be out of the commission for most of the day.

I'll get on and some point and make my 2nd pick of the day so you can go ahead and skip me.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.

You guys can all enjoy your "conversations." "socializing," and "friendship" while the WSC hosts every game, fight, and Adventures of Pete & Pete rerun in the country.

YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I just watched the first two seasons a few weeks ago. Incredible program. That soundtrack is still amazing.

I'm impressed with how well that show has held up. Amazing that Nickelodeon put out something that weird and good. Maybe it's the nostalgia talking, but I still think it's one of the best shows of the past 2 decades, at least in the first two seasons.

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Definitely not nostalgia. It's just really, really good.

That’s kind of the thing, though. Pete And Pete, while about kids and on a children’s network, wasn’t really a kiddie show. That’s partially why it translates so well today. Much like Pee-Wee’s Playhouse, it was a kids show written by adults who a) didn’t think kids are total pants-pooping idiots and b) wanted to write something that adults—whether they be up-all-night stoners or parents along for the ride—could watch and enjoy all the same. It’s not an easy thing to pull off, but when it’s done right, it’s weird and awkward and sublimely funny all at the same time.
