My house band.

Arcade Fire

Believe it or not, if I didn't get the Roots I was going to pick them.

They are absolutely amazing live.  No doubt, a great bar band.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Question:  Does this mean Scotch and Bourbon are off the table too?

That was a question I posed before selecting Whiskey, and I was assured that was the case.

That is, if you feel the commish is the type of guy whose word you can trust.

Ya, I was TOTALLY definitive in my "I'd say so, but feel free to open up tot he board" answer.

Well I thought about this for a while. Originally I just wanted Irish Whiskey, and was going to select that in a later round.

But blended whiskey, scotch, bourbon, tennessee whiskey, its all just whiskey. So shouldn't they count?

I'd say that your choice should be all-inclusive.

You had me and then you lost me.

I'm fine with it, especially if taking it in the first was contingent on that.

That was part of it for me. Having a deep selection of aged scotch, whiskey, and bourbons just sounds awesome.

With pick #7, The Cause and Cure bypasses the obvious choice and goes with:

Andre the Giant, Bouncer (and notorious drinker).  Andre will be working for free drinks, which is probably a loss on our part, but ain't nobody starting no stuff in this establishment.

For more on Andre's prodigious drinking:

Whiskey is a power house.

Clarification:  does whiskey only include shots / straight up, or can it be mixed with non-alcoholic mixers?  (i.e., water, soda, juice, etc.)?

A bit of a tone-setter too. Kinda paint a picture of where you're bar would go.

I was told it can only be straight up. If you take a liquor

But someone could select whiskey and coke and only serve that.

Specialty shots and/or mix drinks (3)
A type of liquor can be selected but could be redrafted in a mix. For example if rum is selected as a specialty shot, rum & coke could be selected as a specialty mix.
You can specify the brand yourself, but when someone picks a liquor its off the table. So if Captain's is picked you can't select Admiral Nelson's

Before I pick can I get the clarification on choosing liquors.  That means you can only serve the liquor neat/rocks or shots correct?  You can't mix it with anything?
