I am so far behind on this right now.

Can we get a separate post with the rules/specifications/etc?

Ya, we'll post something in a little. Should be fairly simple.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I think I got a solution here:

6 beers. No mainstream vs non-mainstream constraints. Just 6 beers.

Save us a lot of debate

Boo!!! ;)

I liked the mainstream category.  Sometimes people just want a cheap beer, and this requires people to weigh those options.  You learn more about someone's beer tastes in the PBR vs. Beast debate than you do in weighing two beers that nobody outside of southwest Arkansas has ever heard of.

Then you'll love Room 112, Roy!

MILLER HIGH LIFES FOR ALL!

You're gonna charge $4.00 a beer, and a big stout black fella is gonna come and take them from your VIP room, while muttering 'everyman-speak'.

Commercials don't lie, SO.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE "PUB EXPERIENCE DRAFT" POST

Here are the categories we'll be drafting:

Quote

Beers (6)
However popular or  unpopular as you'd like

Live Entertainment - bands, comedians, etc. - (3)
Must be living, and you are selecting 2011 modern version of entertainers

Specialty shots and/or mix drinks (3)
A type of liquor can be selected but could be redrafted in a mix. For example if rum is selected as a specialty shot, rum & coke could be selected as a specialty mix.
You can specify the brand yourself, but when someone picks a liquor its off the table. So if Captain's is picked you can't select Admiral Nelson's

Games/activity - Buckhunter, pool, darts, etc.- (1)

Bartender (1)

Bouncer (1)
either the bouncer OR the bartender could be a dead and/or fictional character. It is not required to have one though

Here is the draft order for everyday. We will be starting THURSDAY, AUGUST 12TH.  We will not be drafting Saturdays or Sunday cuz it's the freakin' weekend bout to have me some fun

Quote
Round 1
R#     Time      Manager
1        11:05 AM     Lucky
2        11:10 AM     Gainesville Celtic
3        11:15 AM     Edgar
4        11:20 AM     IP
5        11:25 AM     StartOrien
6        11:30 AM     Dons
7        11:35 AM     FairweatherFan
8        11:40 AM     Kwhitt10
9        11:45 AM     ChicagoCeltic
10       11:50 AM    Champkind
11       11:55 AM    Rondo2287
12       12:00 PM    Redz

Round 2
R#    Time     Manager
1       2:05 PM    Redz
2       2:10 PM    Rondo2287
3       2:15 PM    Champkind
4       2:20 PM    ChicagoCeltic
5       2:25 PM    Kwhitt10
6       2:30 PM    FairweatherFan
7       2:35 PM    Dons
8       2:40 PM    StartOrien
9       2:45 PM    IP
10      2:50 PM   Edgar
11      2:55 PM   Gainesville Celtic
12      3:00 PM   Lucky

If you can't draft at your allotted time you can:

Quote
-PM Rondo your selection
-Request to select at the end of the day. If you'd like this option please let ME know so we can skip your pick to keep things fluid

At the conclusion of the draft each owner will be encouraged to write their own Yelp! like review.

Here's a hilarious excerpt example IP had:

Quote
The bartender was striking, he had one of those rare smiles with a quality of eternal reassurance in it, that you may come across four or five times in life. It faced, or seemed to face, the whole external world for an instant and then concentrated on you with an irresistible prejudice in your favor. It understood you just as far as you wanted to be understood, believed in you as you would like to believe in yourself. The onion rings were mediocre.

This is where I'd include that let's all be nice and have fun, but looking through the roster I don't think we have much to worry about.

LET'S DO THIS, GUYS!

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Why don't we just go honor system on what constitutes a "mainstream" beer. If you can find it in your grocery store in CA, and it'll also be in a similar grocery store in RI, that's mainstream. Use discretion in your judgment, and it works out for everyone, in an "i'll take your word for it" kind of way.

Unless you're a dirty cheater like Lucky.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

I edited this into the rules, but you're right, Dons. To keep things easy this is how we'll do it: 6 beers, however you'd like to do it.

If you'd like to force yourself into certain guidelines you're welcome to do so. But no requirements, any 6 beers you'd like.

WHAT UP, ZIMA

I'll actually be kinda impressed if people besides IP recognize some of the stuff I plan on throwing out there.
