I was looking at his stats the other day and apparently he shot .444% this year.  Didn't House beat Ainge by .001 with the same score?
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I think you're correct.  Also, if you carry it out another decimal point, Ray actually beat House:

Ray: 168 for 378 = .4444

Eddie:  151 for 340 = .4441

Guess everyone was busy talking about Ray's other record.

Well, that sure is odd.

Not odd that he would set a team record like that, he is the all-time NBA 3pt king after all.  Odd that nobody even noticed.  Not even the media, who are usually all over stuff like this.  When Eddie broke Ainge's record a couple years back there was a fair amount of media coverage about it.

Just goes to show how much everyone seems to take Ray's greatness for granted sometimes.

They must go by those numbers, didn't think to do that.

Congrats Ray, breaking records left and right!

The team record got no attention because it really pales in comparison to the other record Ray broke.

I guess you can sort of compare it to the McGwire/Sosa/Bonds home run record chases. I'm sure they broke all sorts of team records but nobody cared because the big prize was in target.

It's pretty amazing to see Eddie put up almost as many 3's that year as Ray did last year.  I always felt Eddie was very one dimensional, but I wonder how much our team misses a guy like him.  That's a lot of points at a very good clip.

Wow. To think how much was made of it when Eddie was attempting to do it, and it took over 3 months after the fact (for me at least) to find out about Ray breaking it.

Impressive.

If there is a next year, I think Ray finally gets his 50/40/90 season.

Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.
