I went through all the emotions...anger, disbelief...I worried, I fretted.

Now I have decided to get on with MY life and let the owners and players worry about their own mess.  (They need me...and you...more than we need them.  And they SHOULD be worried that we all get on with our lives and forget them.)

Aside from that, the Blog is still my #1 destination each day.   :D
As you can see from the above post I'm still in the denial stage.  I don't do well with grief.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Ouch.  By the lack of responses, you can probably see how quiet it is.  There's pretty much the CelticsBlog Draft, and a whole lot of nothing.

Yeah I gathered that :) it's like ghost town in NBA world.

Thanks, interesting to see some mixed reactions to it. I suppose those reactions will change when we miss the season and it sinks in that the picture below is the last we see of the big four on court together.

I remember when you took over the Pacers a few years back in the CB draft, and you wouldn't trade me Monta Ellis for Darko. I was fuming. That was you wasn't it?

I convince myself every night that the lockout isn't real (or will be over the next day) and make myself get excited to see what new moves we are making for next season... I get myself super pumped to see new threads... hell, it's denial at it's finest! Funny enough, it actually works most days!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I have started playing PAPTBG...I know very little about current baseball players.  In case there was any doubt, I am pretty sure I am  obsessive/compulsive (at least to some extent,   ??? ).

how do i cope with the lockout? the same, successful way i deal with all unpleasant things in my life.... denial. life is sooooooo much easier when you dont clutter it up with reality.

:)

aside from that, i would enjoy more articles such as the lead one today on jeff green getting a basket out of a time out. that is...i would like to read more about the Xs and Os of the celtics' plays.

heck, during the upcoming lockout - which i am sure will never, ever happen - maybe CB could spend time or bring in folks to tell us about college basketball plays, games, etc.....just end each article with the phrase "and the celtics might draft this player or adopt this play" and it fits CB.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I hear ya, the biz side is kinda like seeing that hottie you went home with last night without her makeup this morning.

Man needs to be prepared for that!

my approach as well...can't stand the business side.  Like the game.  I used to like trades and free agency a lot more too, but most trades are driven as much by salary/contract implications as they are by the talent involved (in the majority of cases it's even more the salaries that of concern).
Yup

And how are the bloggers coping?

I feel like there is a big void in my life at the moment.
