Rondo you are correct on my reference of "Black Whole"

Haha, im glad, don't take it personally buddy, one of the best parts of this draft is the chop busting that goes on.   I think it builds some real camaraderie on the board.

NP, I'm usually the one to remind people that I'm never serious (unless you insult my mom or Pierce) but I do have some worthy opponents on here. Edgar and I already established the best PG team + pieces dual

If you ask me which pg i like better, CP3 or Deron, I like Deron alot better.

If you ask me which pg I think is better, I think CP3 is the better overall player.
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

I promise I'll comment on others' teams tonight.

I just want to post this before I'm gone for the day.

Denver Nuggets:

Coach: Phil Jackson

Pg: George Hill
Sg: Joe Johnson
Sf: Grant Hill
Pf: Chris Bosh
C:  Nene

first off hill is old but hasn't missed a game the past 3 years in PHX so im not worried about him...honestly i wish you drafted a better pg. Hill has been a backup for his career.  i know he just got traded to the pacers..im not sure but i think he would back up collison.  i would move george hill to 6th man and draft a better starting pg and this team will be playoffs for sure.
Pick 2 Heat:
Pg: Jennings/Vasquez
Sg: Wade/R. Allen/Rivers
SF: Lebron/M. Williams
PF: Bosh/Humphries
C: B. Lopez/Dalembert/Anthony

I thought Devin Harris was the man for the job.

I was a bit surprised by Grant Hill's selection too. I thought a superior three point threat would have been preferable there.

That was the direction I was expecting that team to go in.

I agree with the Devin Harris assessment, but I think Grant is fine next to JJ.

C - Dwight Howard
PF - Andrea Bargnani/ Carl Landry
SF - Shawn Marion
SG -
PG - Darren Collison

Clearly team is still a work in progress. Bargs is a controversy, ingot it. However I think offensively him and D12 compliment each other amazingly. Also with Marion I have one of the premier lockdown perimeter defenders in the game.  Collison is a bit of a work in progress but he has a high compete level, plays above average d, and has plus penetration skills.

Clearly the backcourt is thin, but I have a bunch of guys pegged that I think can help my team.  Thoughts and opinions? TP's for constructive criticism

I would trade Andrea Bargnani at all costs, even if it meant taking 50 cents on the dollar.

Here's how I'd look at it if I were you: Andrea Bargnani is not a better player than Rashard Lewis was in his prime - Past that, I don't think your supporting cast is as good as those Magic teams. So if those Magic couldn't 'cut it,' why am I to believe your Mavs would?

----
Plus, I think Carl Landry is the better player, and better fit in this case.

I like the team.  George Hill has played well enough to be on the floor instead of Parker in SA.

And as always, I am an easy mark for Grant Hill.

Very very solid team.  Lots of offense (but not too much) and no serious defensive liabilities.  This team looks like an improvement over the current Hawks because everybody is playing the position they should be.

Also: I like the triangle for this team.  JJ and bosh running the two man game?  JJ isn't quite the passer I'd like, but it would still be pretty productive.

The Celtics:

PG: Jrue Holiday
SG: Eric Gordon
SF: Luol Deng
PF: Greg Monroe
C: Tim Duncan

Bench: Taj Gibson

The real question ? is Eric Gordon. We know he can score, but he's been compared unfavorably to other one dimensional SG scorers in the league.

The thing that has to work is that the young guys need to move ahead faster than Duncan falls behind, and I don't know if that's feasible.

Find me the unfavorable quote about Gordon, because his defense makes him 2 dimensional player. And as for the young guys, 3 of them already have considerable playoff experience and I don't imagine Monroe-- who will benefit both from playing with and learning from Duncan-- and Gordon will have much of a problem.

There is something about this team that I don't like and I can't figure it out.

I know that sounds like a joke, but I'm actually being serious. For some reason, I feel inclined to dismiss this team, but it's a really solid squad 1-6.

It's simple. You're too big a Jabroni to smell what we're cooking. ;D

Yeah and I bet when you order a blizzard you only ask for oreos too.

IN all seriousness, I went for the bigger talent. I don't have LeBron or Dwight, so I'd rather swing for the fences than settle for a single.
