With 6.9 Utah Jazz select Brandon Jennings

Interesting.

So who starts at SG, Jennings or Young?

And is that strong enough defensively with Kobe and Johnson both in your division?

What about Hedo Turkoglu?

Wait, Hedo + Wade + Iggy ... are you planning on starting Hedo?
Nah I like the defensive versatility + sharpshooting Hinrich brings to the starting unit, I was envisioning Turk as the leader of the bench.  Love the idea of going big with Wade/Iggy/Hedo though, that is by far the most RIDICULOUS passing lineup I've ever seen, while still being tough on defense and letting Wade destroy weaker PGs.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

That lineup would be a nightmare -- an absolute nightmare -- to matchup against.

Now there is some high risk/reward.

Like his potential as a sixth man instant offense guy. His only job will be to primarily score off the bench ala Jamal Crawford. He is a scorer more then a PG. I think he can also provide a nice change of pace to Andre Miller. He averaged 16 and 5 last year.

NY Knicks select rebounding machine DeJuan Blair

Maybe a little early for him...or at least other more talented PF's still out there.

I can think of one especially that should have been picked a while ago that isn't much younger.

Young. His shooting and slashing will complement Pierce and Gasol more in the starting lineup. Once Washington jettisoned "Bad Knee Gun Man" he got touches and avergaed 17 ppg a game. Also that negative influence was bad for him. There will be none of that in Utah.

I considered him IP, but Blair's a bulldog and a proven starter on a quality team.... more than i can say for _____ _____ and _____ _____.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Lots of good picks this round so far. Liked finally seeing Jennings go, appreciate the Blair pick because he's a good fit almost anywhere, and Carter is solid in the 6th, even though he'll be fun to defend when you state your case for your team.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.
