1) This is a blog. People discuss trade options (it's an entire forum section by itself), so I suggest you get over it. It's an aspect here, and an entertaining one especially in the offseason.
2) If Rondo is our best player (which I don't think he is atm), he is not the best player in the league. Therefore, if you can trade him for someone better (like Chris Paul) then it should be discussed.
3) Loyalty: people's main issue with Lebron was not that he went to work somewhere else, but how he did it. Danny's loyalty is the Celtics organization and putting the best TEAM on the floor. Fans often times want the same thing.
4) Rondo has the most trade value, by far, on our roster. If the Celtics look to improve their roster via trading then most discussions will invariably include Rondo.
5) Trading Rondo does not mean that the Celtics will automatically be worse (or better) off. Its this concept that keeps things intriguing, especially during an otherwise boring and long offseason.
