We took a kid who was a project with one year of experience.  I'm not sure what people were expecting.

I expect him to be one of the two kids we expect to contribute and be on the team.

E'Twan Moore will make the team only if we can't find a better minimum option.  Otherwise, he should expect to be on the Maine Bearclaws.

stop tryna be nice.. his real potential is monte ellis. his defense this year will get him playing time. as long as he can shoot open shots when rondo or west gets him the ball he will be fine. hes our 2nd most agressive scorer off our bench after big baby give bradley some time.

I predict there will not be room on this roster for both Bradley and Moore.  I think Danny goes after a proven backup PG (like resigning Arroyo) because I seriously doubt either Bradley or Moore are ready for that.  We've got Delonte, but we know he's a bit fragile.

If there was room for Bradley and Wafer, there will be room for Bradley and Moore.  Very different skillsets, despite their similar size (Moore is a bit bigger though).  Moore's much more comfortable as a decision maker with the ball in his hands.  He's got a lot of experience running pick and rolls.  He's much more comfortable creating his own shot.

Bradley's much more of an off-ball player at this stage with very raw slashing ability.

Look at some of the other guys drafted after him and did nothing. You might get them for him, maybe. Probably not, though because they make less money. So then you gotta look at the guys drafted above him who did nothing. Maybe you can get one of those. Maybe.

Also if there is a bust or a headache out there you might get that too.  But there is no way on Earth you'd get Wes Mathews and the Blazers wouldn't appreciate the call.

I agree with that except I don't think there will be a summer league this year. With the coming lockout I am not sure if there will be a training camp either.

Yeah, this lockout is going to retard the development of a lot of first and second year players, Avery included.  Let's just hope he gets together with some of the other guys and works out in the long, long off-season (the way the NFL guys have been working out together).

Agreed.  Matthews is a #5 overall pick and has shown that he can be a starting SG in this league.  Bradley is a #19 overall pick and has proven... absolutely nothing.  It's a pipe dream to think that Bradley could get you Matthews. 

But Maybe a package of BBD, Bradley, and picks could entice the Blazers if they feel their logjam at SF/SG would allow them to make such a move?  Still, I doubt they'd do it.

If we acquired Matthews, that would open the door to trading Ray Allen's expiring contract for a top notch talent though.  So that is something to consider.  I just don't see why the Blazers would do it.
