Agreed. Matthews is a #5 overall pick and has shown that he can be a starting SG in this league. Bradley is a #19 overall pick and has proven... absolutely nothing. It's a pipe dream to think that Bradley could get you Matthews.
But Maybe a package of BBD, Bradley, and picks could entice the Blazers if they feel their logjam at SF/SG would allow them to make such a move? Still, I doubt they'd do it.
If we acquired Matthews, that would open the door to trading Ray Allen's expiring contract for a top notch talent though. So that is something to consider. I just don't see why the Blazers would do it.
Look at some of the other guys drafted after him and did nothing. You might get them for him, maybe. Probably not, though because they make less money. So then you gotta look at the guys drafted above him who did nothing. Maybe you can get one of those. Maybe.
Also if there is a bust or a headache out there you might get that too. But there is no way on Earth you'd get Wes Mathews and the Blazers wouldn't appreciate the call.
