My thoughts exactly.  When we traded Brooks I thought for sure it would be a more established player coming back rather than 2nd rounder that turns out to be useless more often than not.

the celtics definitely could have used him... but not sure if it was possible because we are over the cap right? We can't do any sign and trade with Baby yet (and not sure they would want him) so what could we have really done?

Yeah, I'd have much preferred to have seen Danny acquire Rudy than J.Johnson.

At least Rudy can be depended on to be a rotation player next season. A Delonte, Rudy and J.Green combo (should they return) would be one of the best backup perimeter groupings in the league.

Not sure how much Rudy adds to Dallas. Don't think it's much.

We need a defender and outside spot up shooter at the sg to defend wade. We don't need sissy boy Fernandez.

J Johnson will be great running in the future and can play d and block shots and has a pretty smooth jumper. He will be really good I tghink and is a 4 year college player so he should be able to play mins right away. Just needs to add 15 lbs or so of muscle

A very nice replacement for Peja's 20 min per game at the 3

TP. Let him beef up a bit, so he can bang with other Power Forwards. But we still need a scorer off the bench. Wafer is too inconsistent to be that guy, and Green too.

Maybe Danny finds a team that wants BBD so we can find a SG to put behind Ray...ideas?
Can't stop, Rondo!

Option A: Rudy Fernandez

Option B: Jajuan Johnson, E'twaun Moore, and a 2014 2nd rounder from Jersey

Hmmmm. I honestly don't know which one I'd rather have.

But can he beef up without losing that explosiveness and athleticism. Since he's gonna be heavier. That's my only concern. LeBron did this and had no problem. But can JaJuan as well? Hope so.

As for a scorer off the bench, yeah just SnT BBD for someone. Don't have any idea yet though. But as far fetched as this may sound, I want T-Mac on a vet. minimum deal if he'll okay. Give him the green light to go shooting with the 2nd unit, he can probably drop 12-15 on 20 minutes a game.
