did the c's get this years 2nd rd pick or next year?

they said "future 2nd round pick" so I doubt that it's this year. I doubt that it's next year as well. I'm guessing a 2013 2nd rounder.

It's a 2014 second.

Love the trade. Hate brooks pick. Like the Johnson pick and pick up a future second.

Nice job DA!!!

agreed.
seems like a decent pick/trade by the Cs.
I know a lot on cblog were interested in johnson leading up to the draft, I was less so, but still think he's a good pick at #25 (let alone at #27 ;)).

i would like to see boston do the following:

1. resign west
2. tell baby to hit the road
3. resign green
4. draft another big or a pure shooter off the bench

Thanks Roy. That sounds about right, there is no way they were going to give us a pick in the 2012 draft.

Would anyone else not be surprised to see Jeremy Tyler still available at 55?

Entire ESPN broadcasting group are astounded at what Minnesota is doing. Kahn is an idiot, I've been saying it for years and people are just now figuring it out??
agreed.  surprised they are just openly hammering him but they do have a point.  at least Mchale varied the types of players he picked.  they usually turned out to be busts but he picked more than PGs and PFs.   ::)
