You worked with Hakeem Olajuwon last summer. You're going to do that again? Dwight Howard: I will work with Michael Jordan (laughs). I will continue working with Hakeem on my offensive game but also a shooting specialist to improve my free throw percentage. I will also work with Hedo Turkoglu, Doc Rivers and Rajon Rondo because I want to become a better passer. I also want to work with LeBron. (laughs) Basket USA

I think that if Howard comes to Boston, it will be because of Rondo.  Those are two guys who could rewrite NBA history together.

Nice, but not enough.. They'd still need another superstar, a closer!
It'd be great to see alley-oop dunks every other 3 possessions.. 'R2D12' sounds nice!

Well we'd still have PP and in theory could re-sign both Ray and KG.

Don't you think DH coming in here to play for Doc would make KG and Ray think twice about retiring?

This may help us get him as he gets to know Doc and Rondo but it's still a long shot.

I think the fellas have a plan to answer Miami.  And Doc's new contract is a bargain.

I hope Rondo stays away from those elbows of mass destruction. The last thing he needs this offseason is another injury. Other than that it's OK I guess as a recruiting opportunity. Although why is Howard working with RonDoc them to improve his passing? Wouldn't he be better off with a big man coach to work on fundamentals and simple passing first?
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

How about stay away from Dwyane Wade?

They will not let this idea die.

And as a Celtics fan with hope, I eat it right up.

Come on Howard.  Fall in love with playing with Rondo under Doc.

I'd agree. Interesting that he chose Rondo's name for the passer, but that's about all you can get from that.

Umm...pretty sure he was making a joke.

For sure.  But it at least shows that he respects rondo's passing game.  Although he also mentions Lebron so that means he must be joining the 2 other superstars in NY.
