Boston S/T BBD and next years clippers pick to the kings for tyreke evans and the kings 2nd round pick this year. Then we draft Jeremy Tyler and Jon leur or jajuan johnson. Then we have a roster as such:
PG:rondo/west/bradley
SG:Evans/Allen
SF:Pierce/Green
PF: KG/Leuer or Johnson
C:JO/Jeremy Tyler
PLUS we can use the MLE for another big if we have to.

*The idea of this trade is to also get pieces to lure Dwight:
starting rotation of rondo, evans, green, tyler and dwight???

Why would the kings do this?

Because they are losing Dalembert and that will just leave them with demarcus Cousins...and I think its easier to find a gaurd than a big in this years draft, the kings can draft a gaurd to replace tyreke. PLUS they can re-sign Marcus Thornton

Kings also have Jason Thompson, they won't bail on the potentially of Tyreke after he had an injury riddled season. No way Kings do this.

He is their 1st option on offense.  He is the centerpiece to this team.

Davis and a top 10 protected pick is a joke offer in the NBA for a near all-star.

thats a good point on thompson, i forgot about him. At most of the mock drafts ive seen, the kings seem to want to draft a gaurd (jimmer, brandon knight, kemba) which makes me think that maybe they might be interested in shipping tyreke, plus BBD can be a Kevin Love if ever gets a starting spot but that wont happen in Boston. Gettin Tyreke would be sweet but after thinking about it more we would prly have to give up a lil more.

Considering how good next year's draft is, I don't think this trade is as lopsided as people think.  That being said, still is a pretty bad trade for the Kings because it sets them back the 2 years Reke has spent in the league for whoever they draft next year to replace them.  Now maybe if we throw in Jeff Green and pick up Garcia's crummy contract then that could be something they think about.

So your saying boston S/T davis, Green, and next years clippers pick for tyreke, garcia, and this years 2nd round pick?...I think the salaries line up and this is a better trade. The kings will also draft another guard in the first round. and we could use the draft picks to still get Tyler, Leuer, and maybe David Lighty( the next Tony Allen)  ;D

Only way you even have a chance of seeing Tyreke Evans in Green is if Rondo is in the deal.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
great idea..
for the Celtics.

When you make a trade idea like this try to think about what the other team would say...
eg: if you made a statement like...
'Hey Kings, here's a great idea, lets swap Big Baby for Tyreke Evans and throw a few picks in here and there'.

Swap a 6th man in horrible form for an injured team MVP.

Here's what Sacramento would say : No F*%%NG way!
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

If Evans were healthy, I think I'd do Evans and Jason Thompsom for Rondo. Works in Trade Checker.http://basketball.realgm.com/tradechecker/saved_trade/5898441
