OKC doesn't give up their dominate PG of the future, Sefolosha, AND James Harden for an aging, almost done PG and Wesley Matthews.  Double downgrade.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

-Portland makes out like bandits in that trade.
-Boston makes a somewhat lateral move (in terms of talent), but will create all sorts of controversy (amongst fans and teammates) trading their franchise PG.
-OKC would never do that.

OKC goes back to being a lottery team. So ZERO CHANCE they make this trade. Their fans would boycott the team.

OKC is NOT trading Westbrooks's contract.

Now, I don't know much about trades and how they work but... is OKC on crack when this goes down? Seriously, this is a joke right?
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
seriously?

who in their right mind would agree to that. hahahahahaa
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

mgent took the words out of my mouth. TP.

despite what Hollinger says, that does not make the Celtics win 7 more games, my guess is it is a lateral move like others said.  Portland on the other hand might win the West with this line-up:

PG- Rondo
SG- Roy
SF- Wallace
PF- Aldridge
C- Camby
Bench:
Sefolosha
Harden
Mills
Fernandez
Batum
maybe Oden

This roster actually kills and still have trade pieces to get another big and crush..........

Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline., do this trade actually so I can see how many games Portland wins..............

Must be a Blazers fan because I don't see the C's and especially OKC making this deal.  Westbrook can score but I don't see him as the PG that fits this team now or going forward.

Keep in mind that Roy will play sporadically in the regular season and limited minutes in the playoffs.

Rondo does not seem to be a good match with Roy. Roy works with the ball in his hands. Miller barely fits with Roy. Good trade for them nonetheless.
