I think JO could be a huge surprise next year if he stays relatively healthy. Now I don't think anyone is expecting him to go 82; however, if we get fairly lucky and he can play 60 or 65 games and he is healthy come playoff time, he could end up being the best center center this team has had since Robert Parish left.
As we saw in the playoffs, he's still a dominant shot blocker. If he can find even part of his old offensive game, he could be nearly as effective as Shaq with the attention the Big Four attract from opposing defenders.
Best yet, he shoots well enough that he can stay in games at the end, which is something Perk nor Shaq could do.
It's going to take some luck, but he could end up being quite good. And remember, though injury prone, he's still 32 right now (though he'll be 33 by next season). And though a high school pick, he barely played the first few years in the league, so essentially had the "college" wear and tear every 32 in the league has.
