Are people really considering Lebron a better player than Jordan? SERIOUSLY!?

Fact: Lebron joined 2 all stars (one of whom is the best 2 guard in the NBA) in their prime.
He has no rings yet.

Jordan won 6 rings (could've had at least 2 more if not for retirement). How many could he have won if he joined Clyde Drexler or Barkley or played with some of the pistons bad boys?

Lebron although not as skilled as Jordan, is probably the greatest athlete we've ever seen on the court and has already proven to be one of the best players ever.
But he'll never lead a team to a championship, let alone six, without the help of Bosh and Wade.

Jordan had Scottie.
Lebron has Wade AND Bosh.
Case closed.

Jordan also had Horace Grant for the first three (who is fairly similar to Bosh though slightly less skilled) and HOFer Dennis Rodman and Toni Kukoc for the second three.   

Both sets of Bulls three peat (especially the latter) were not just the Jordan and Pippen show, they were a complete team (or as complete as any team could be).

I don't see the big deal. The guy who played with him day in and day out said it so we should shut our mouths and agree. Aside from Phil Jackson nobody else has a say. MJ didn't like to pass and he played in a WEAK NBA era. There was one superstar per squad. Who wouldn't shine in that? And the defenders, good Lord, Imagine Lebron against Craig Ehlo, John Starks or Joe Dumars. LOL. It's a different topic, but nostalgia aside, for the most part, that NBA sucked and Lebron would flutter over everyone and pound them into the ground. Pretty much what he does now, just with more oomph.

you're saying no one has a say but you've gone ahead and listed the reasons why we should shut our mouths?

I can use your logic and say imagine Jordan in today's league with zero hand checking and how easily people get to the line compared to his era.
He was MAULED and for you to call it a weak era shows your bias towards Lebron.
The NBA was much 'tougher' then and defense was much more physical.
You're saying he played with him so why don't people just shut up and accept it?
Jordan also stole a lot of Pippen's glory and plenty of people think he is simply jealous and has carried a chip on his shoulder for most of his career because he never did ANYTHING without Jordan.
This argument can go on and on forever but if Kobe can score 80 something points in a game with no hand checking on his hottest night, how many points could Jordan get?

  People who want to favorably compare LBJ to Jordan or for that matter Larry Bird, Magic Johnson or even yes...Kobe Bryant(I just threw up in my mouth a little bit) just don't get it.  

  In the biggest games and the biggest moments those guys wanted the ball in their hands.  No, they weren't ALWAYS successful in those situations because nobody is but their mentality was get on my back and I'll carry you home. They wanted the ball in their hands when it mattered the most because they supremely believed they were the best, that they could and would deliver.

  LeBron James for whatever reason isn't that kind of player when it matters the most.  He can run up all of these impressive numbers during the regular season but they do not erase the fact that when everything is on the line, when the opportunity has arisen for him to become an immortal like those I mentioned he doesn't want the ball because he doesn't believe in his own ability to come through in those situations.

LBJ is a terrific talent, but Kobe (as much as i hate to say it) is the closest thing to MJ. It's the killer instinct or whatever.

Lebron might be better than MJ in a casual (though i have doubts about that). But when pressure's on, when the game's on the line, when you're playing for everything... MJ's team will beat Lebron's (assuming they have very similar teammates).

and btw, MJ played in an era where defense was absolutely brutal. if the King flops, he gets rewarded. o_O

I hate LeBron and would love to see him retire with no rings. That said, losing this series doesn't mean that he won't win a lot of titles in coming years. Maybe as many as Jordan. I wouldn't count on it, but I also wouldn't count him out. If the MLE exists next year, Miami should be able to add a nice center or point guard to round out the roster.
