There the trade on trade checker.

It would give us :
c
PF Garnett/Horford
SF Green/M. Williams
Sg Allen/Igodala
PG Teague/

So the next step is filling in with free agents...cheaper the better so....

We draft Vejuic for center. Sign Dalembert/Kristic(depth) and finish off with tj ford at the point...If we could pull that off we would be competitive next year and in the future after KG and RAy hang it up.

Teague looks like he will be in the top ten point guards possibly.. Igodala can defend, score, pass, and rebound. Marvin will is as good as a back up can be and Horford is mr consistency with Zach Randolph type talent. If we could beat Miami would depend largely on how good J Green becomes. If he becomes the second coming of Paul Pierce in a slightly larger package look out! In a couple years I would take Green, Igodala, and Horford over wade, james, and bosh. Then when Teague and Vejuic reach their potential also...it would be a starting 5 that are almost unbeatable...

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Rondo & Trash for a boatload of talent? I'm down.

Pierce is trash these days?

Pierce is as likely to get traded as Bird was.

Thoughtful trade.  But it would never happen.

That sounds like a nice nucleus but not better than Wade, James and Bosh.  Our current nucleus isn't even better than those three.

Not at all

I only saw 3 faces pop up for the Celtics on my phone Rondo, JO, and Bradley.

With that cleared I pass i liked the deal better when we were the clear beneficiaries.

Philly says no.

Atlanta says no.

From the combine results, it sounds like Vucevic has no hops. A little worried about that.

Boston says no, too.  So this trade works for everybody.

SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas

It's a darn shame he's not a seven footer with 40 inch vertical.

As someone pointed out, Vucevic has comparable hops to Kaman and Aldridge. I think he'll be just fine.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
lol Atlanta gives away half their team for Rondo.

I can't see any team agreeing to anything remotely close to this one.

Good to see some trade ideas though.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.
